Eva is the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for various aspects of business operations such as clients’ reporting and data, software and applications, supervising daily and monthly reconciliations, following and implementing new reporting requirements, etc. Eva manages the firm’s human resources and administration.

Eva was appointed Chief Compliance Officer in 2009. She keeps up-to-date with the rules and regulations governing our industry. She reviews compliance policies, updating them periodically to reflect the changing regulatory environment.

Before joining Holt-Smith Advisors in 2008, Eva was a Vice President of Operations of Big Earth Publishing, as well as Publisher of Trails Books and Prairie Oak Press. She earned her MBA from Edgewood College in 2004 along with her Certificate in Total Quality Management. She received her Bachelor degree with a major in Economics and MBA with a major in Business Entrepreneurship from Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic in 1998.

Eva was named among the Top 40 under 40 by In Business Magazine in 2009. She is a member and serves on the Board of Directors for The Business Forum and Executive Women Golf Association. She is also a member of International Professionals.

Eva is often found doing yoga, hiking, reading and traveling home to her beloved Czech.
